This position requires the incumbent to work as a member of a community-based treatment team providing in-home services to clients with severe and persistent mental illness. The incumbent is responsible for providing skill training, support, and education to help adults with serious and persistent mental illness become successful and satisfied in their living environment of choice. All services are provided as part of a comprehensive treatment team. In rotation with other ACT Team members, this position may involve weekday, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend coverage, as well as on-call duty and holidays
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A combination of mental health work experience or relevant education, and training which indicates the possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform essential job duties required.
- Bachelor’s degree earned from an accredited college or university in a relevant human services field is required.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) required or CSAC with training or experience working with adults with co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorder.
- At least one year of experience working with adults with co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorder preferred.
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or LMHP eligibility preferred
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and the ability to provide your own transportation.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May be exposed to allergenic environments from client’s including, dust, smoke, pet contamination.
- May be exposed to clients with infectious diseases.
- Must be able to drive for long periods of time to visit other clinic sites in catchment area as needed.
- Must be able to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles.
- Must be able to complete physical requirements of the job
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
SALARY: Starting at $55,145
