This position requires the incumbent to conduct ongoing psychotherapy, counseling, and therapy services including but not limited to the treatment of mental health disorders as identified in the current agency-utilized DSM (Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders). To determine appropriateness for Targeted Case Management Services, Outpatient Crisis Stabilization, Crisis Intervention Appointments, and HPR I Detox Screening. The incumbent will meet with a wide variety of individuals seeking psychiatric services at NWCS as part of the intake/therapy process. Case management and clinical interview skills are needed to obtain previous client records from outside agencies and collect relevant historical information from the individual. These services must be provided under the general supervision of the Adult Mental Health Program Manager and be conducted in accordance with current agency policies and procedures, as well as current Virginia State regulations. The position is primarily housed at the Winchester Clinic and the Front Royal Clinic but may also provide services in other Northwestern CSB Clinics and community settings as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in relevant human services field required*
- Job-related clinical experience in working adult mental health
- LPC or LCSW license or license eligible required
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and the ability to provide your own transportation

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May be exposed to allergenic environments from client’s homes, including extreme heat, humidity, dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc.
- May be exposed to clients with infectious diseases
- Must be able to drive for long periods of time to visit clients in and out of the catchment area as needed
- Must be able to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds at times
SALARY: Starting at $60,577.00
