Family Support Partner Community Stabilization

This position provides family support services to family members of children with complex emotional or behavioral health needs involved in multiple service systems utilizing a systems of care approach. Family Support Partners offer emotional support, share knowledge, and connect families with resources, opportunities, and other communities of support with other families who share the same experiences. Services are non-clinical, person centered, strengths based, and trauma informed. Family Support Partners work to keep families together, enhance the independence of the family, and facilitate connections in the community as well as with other families

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A combination of education, training, and experience which indicates the possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform essential job duties required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in behavioral health services or with behavioral health populations, whether through previous employment or participation in services, is required.
  • Completion of Family Support Partner specialized training required.
  • Must have experience as a family member of a youth with complex emotional or behavioral health needs involved in multiple service systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to provide your own transportation

SALARY:  Starting at $39,095
